SIA's NURSERY CENTRES WELCOME YOU

SiA runs two nursery centres for students in Southern Norway, Hokus Pokus in Kristiansand and Grimstad. They aim to be wonderful places for children as well as flexible daycare centres which make it easier for parents to do well in their studies.

We want children to be the best they can be, and have therefore come up with better ways to run daycare centres. For example, we do not have separate departments. The children can decide where they would like to be and what they would like to play with. Satisfied parents mean that we also have many applicants for the slots which are not reserved for students' children.

We have more men employed than most other daycare centres. We believe that it is very important for the children that there are both women and men who can serve as good role models in the daycare.

SiA is the welfare and culture organization for students in the southernmost part of Norway. The daycare centres' goal is to help each child to be happy and develop so well that the parents think that Sørlandet is the country's best place to study.
